Tip of the week

A generic cover letter can hurt your application. Therefore, be sure to always personalize each cover letter for the company and the role for which you are applying. Use your cover letter to tell a story that helps to answer:

  1. What interests you about working for that specific company?
  2. What interests you about this particular position?
  3. What skills and experience would you bring to this role?

PRO TIP: In your cover letter, share one of your accomplishments and what it took to get you there. Relate it to the skills required for this position.
